Credit straight from the POS

When the customer’s number is on the invoice and their account is open, “ledger” sits next to cash and card. Split payments work: half cash, half on account.

A limit and a due date

Each account has its own credit limit and settlement period. An invoice over the limit will not close without an explicit confirmation, and overdue accounts are counted in your notifications every morning.

An immutable ledger

Every purchase, payment and adjustment is a line with the balance after it; mistakes are reversed, never erased. The printable statement and the customer’s “My ledger” page are built from the same lines.

From switching on to first use

Set the default limit and period in settings.

Open an account for a regular by their phone number.

Pick “ledger” at the till; record payments from the account page.

Questions about this plugin

Can customers see their own balance?

Yes — their personal account has a “My ledger” section with the balance, due date and recent activity. Settling still happens at the till.

What if a customer goes over the limit?

The invoice will not close. If you want, turn on “allow over the limit with cashier confirmation” so it goes through with one switch and you get a notification.
